Lysandros Nikolaou
CPython Core Developer
Lysandros works as a Senior Software Engineer at Quansight Labs, where he spends most of his time on CPython and the PyData ecosystem. He is a CPython core developer, specializing in the parser, the tokenizer and the REPL. He recently worked on supercharging f-strings in Python 3.12, the new REPL for Python 3.13 and implementing t-string in 3.14. He also worked on introducing fast string ufuncs in NumPy 2.0. Currently, he's mostly dealing with improving support for free-threaded Python in the PyData ecosystem.
Panagiotis Kyrillos
Software Developer Engineer
Panagiotis is a Software Development Engineer who primarily focuses on Python-powered observability automations and alerts, and he's also the brave soul who keeps his team on track as Scrum Master. When the code runs flawlessly in production and the daily scrum is done, he usually drives, attempts to design stuff for other interesting projects, and is part of the organizing team for the first-ever PyCon Greece. Clearly, sleep is optional.
Vassiliki Dalakiari
Software Engineer & Community Builder
Vasiliki Dalakiari is a software engineer and R&D Engineering Lead, currently focusing on projects at the intersection of AI, innovation, and social good. She’s a PyGreece organizer, Women Techmakers Ambassador, and #IAmRemarkable facilitator, supporting inclusive tech communities and mentoring newcomers. She also co-leads Boundless Minds, a space for open conversations about impostor syndrome, public speaking, and emotional well-being in the workplace. When she's not coding or organizing events, you'll find her sketching ideas for her next handmade bag or swapping movie tips over coffee.

Olga Matoula is a Senior Software Engineer passionate about Python. She loves conferences, sharing her enthusiasm for technology, αand is a big advocate for equal representation in tech, having previously co-founded Code It Like a Girl to empower women with coding skills. In her free time, Olga enjoys reading, yoga, and exploring London's music scene.
Panagiotis Skias
Software Engineer
Panagiotis is a Software Engineer who spends most of his time wrangling JS on the front end, but his heart is set on Python. While he currently codes in Python for fun, he's working on making it more than just a side hustle. He is a PyGreece board member and the Core Maintainer and Contributor of python-docs-el the Greek Translation of Python Documentation. When he's not coding, you'll probably find him crusing around on a bicycle, whether it's code or wheels, he's always moving forward.
George Margaritis

George is a Software Engineer with a soft spot for Python, open source software, and vibrant tech communities. He’s a PyGreece board member, helps out with organizing EuroPython, and also the first-ever PyCon Greece, contributing to the sponsors and communications teams. Beyond the keyboard, you’ll find him cruising the streets on his longboard!
George Zisopoulos

George is a passionate Python developer who enjoys working with others and supporting his team. Recently, he started exploring Go and loves playing around with new tools and ideas. He’s actively involved in the Python community, helping organize EuroPython and PyCon Gr as part of the operations team. He enjoys playing football and hiking, mostly as an excuse to grab a beer afterwards. He also loves traveling and meeting new people and cultures around the world.

Kalli Rantou
Software Engineer
Kalli is a full-stack software engineer at Yodeck. Initially focused on backend development, she gradually expanded her scope to include the frontend, seeking a more holistic view of software development. As an active member of the Python community and one of the organizers of the first PyCon in Greece, she finds inspiration in community building and is passionate about promoting inclusivity at all levels. When she's not coding, Kalli enjoys combining three of her favorite things: friends, ice cream and Netflix — ideally after a good Pilates session.

Eleni is a Product Designer bridging AI capabilities with user needs. She combines technical rigor with design empathy to create experiences where people and technology feel in sync. She champions inclusivity in tech as a Women Techmakers Ambassador, #IAmRemarkable facilitator, and Sistech volunteer. Eleni also co-leads Boundless Minds, a space for open conversations about impostor syndrome, public speaking, and emotional well-being in the workplace. In her spare time, she practices meditation to calm the hyperactive mind and stay grounded in an ever-changing world.

Kleopatra is a Conversational AI Application Developer at Omilia, where she blends her love for programming with her background in linguistics to build smart virtual assistants.She loves contributing to open-source projects and collaborating with like-minded folks through events like PyCon Greece. When she's not coding, she's probably up in the air doing aerial arts or hiking her next mountain.
Michael Loukeris
Research Associate
Michael is a Research Associate at the University of Athens, passionate about Python and Django. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and distributed systems. He has contributed to numerous European research projects (including Horizon programmes). He has also actively supported the community by participating in and volunteering for proposal reviews at DjangoCon Europe 2022, DjangoCon Europe 2025, and PyCon Portugal.

Alexis is a musician in the Hellenic Air Force band and a self-taught programmer. He is a passionate supporter of open-source and a proud member of the Python community. Katerina Xagorari
R&D Software Engineer
Katerina is an R&D Software Engineer who has journeyed from research centers to industry, building complete products and exploring how AI can genuinely help humans rather than replace them. When she's not training models, you'll find her organizing both large-scale events and conferences (like this one!) and memorable personal group adventures. She likes to escape to the mountains for hiking and enjoys the occasional "sousou" with friends. She codes, hikes, dances, caffeinates, and brings people together. Not necessarily in that order.
Spiros Mastoras
Motion Graphics Designer
Spiros is a creative motion graphics designer based in Athens, Greece. After completing his studies in Product & System Design Engineering, Spiros focused on the crafts of motion graphics, 2D animation, branding, VFX & video editing. His multidisciplinary skill-set in motion graphics & product design has led him to work as a motion designer for various companies in tech, marketing and advertisement. He has also helped develop visual identities, creative videos and video-installations for a number of festivals and theater plays in Greece. When he is not working on keyframes, and illustrations he is usually drawing, gardening, watching films or thinking about sustainable architectural designs.
